To review the vocabulary in a lesson, some activities are used: a crossword, a pasapalabra circle, a test or a video quiz. We can use one, two or combine some of them for a more complete test.

First of all, we practice with some of this games to review the lesson; and finally we test our pupils in a funnier way than a typical exam. This is a fantastic way for improving motivation.
For the crossword activity I have two parts:
1- Crossword Race: Individual game. I give the crossword for my students and they complete it individually. I count the time they spend doing the activity. They get points according to the order the finished.

2- Team Words. In groups of four students, they are going to complete two different crosswords (model A and model B, which can have a different dispossition for the different groups, but the same words). Students need to work together to complete two crosswords before any other group.

I give points to the groups according to the order the have finished.
The total score for each student wil be the addition of the individual and the group punctuation.

This is a small part of the whole game, which lasts the whole year with similar vocabulary games in each lesson. At the end of the school year, there will be a vocabulary winner. (this kind of games are a good way to motivate students at this age: 9).

Review and test. Final activity in a lesson.
