The following classroom activity is meant for students of English language in the second course of Bachillerato.

I usually use Canva to design some posters which have to do with literature, in special with some authors who wrote their literary works in English (for example, the Irish playwright Sean O'Casey or the American poet Walt Whitman).

I usually use the whiteboard and the computer to show the posters in class, so that the students can discuss the message provided in the posters, learn new vocabulary and ask questions about the author.

I usually do this whenever I feel my group of students is tired of working the contents in the textbook and we can spare from 5 to 10 minutes focusing on literature, which sometimes is totally new for them. As you will see in the links below, I designed posters for the authors I mentioned above, but also for special events such as the Earth Day.
